Have you registered? Here is a subtle reminder about the 'Breathe: A Retreat with Nike Adeyemi'. As a pastor’s wife and founder for over 28 years, I know firsthand the challenges and thrills of serving and leading at the highest level. I am also familiar with the intense pressure to perform, criticism, loneliness, isolation and a dearth of meaningful relationships that a pastor’s wife has to deal with; and I have also tasted the profound fulfilment and joy of watching many lives radically transformed through my ministry. This retreat is borne out of a deep desire to provide support to wives of senior pastors, and women in ministry leadership. We are building a community of sisters connected by vision and purpose. Our mission is to create a safe space where these wonderful women can be their whole selves unapologetically. We understand that burnout in ministry is real, and we want to be able to share the load, be a pillar of support, and create opportunities for rest, relaxation, networking and collaboration, as we journey together on our God-given mission to serve as world shapers. Leadership can be demanding of our time and energy, but we’ve decided to embrace the “And” - to serve others AND serve ourselves. Holding from October 27th - 31st 2022, this retreat brings together top female ministers and leaders providing the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences, rest and bond through different activities that we have lined up. To cap it up, we will also serve as a sounding board for each other’s dreams. This year, the Breathe retreat will take place at Th8 Palm Dubai, UAE, and we’re working to ensure that our attendees truly experience a time of relaxation, impartation and coaching; giving each one time to power down, recharge and power up to better serve themselves, family and ministry.
