To stay safe is wisdom.

In recent times, the news is filled with stories of the pandemic around the world. We are constantly bombarded with news about those who have been infected and also the death rate around the globe. You may be tempted to get discouraged and lose hope in the expectation that things will get better.

​​I encourage you to remain positive and focused on Jesus the author and finisher of everything you are, this is the time to trust God like never before and develop yourself– body, soul and mind.

Even with all that is happening in the world today, remember that God is faithful. We are to build our trust in God and grow in faith knowing God is on our side.

I love the verse in John 16: 13, It says the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and give us revelation, therefore, we have the Holy Spirit (who is our comforter) to help us through these times. We should not be moved by what we see or hear, we should rather be reassured by what we know in the word of God.

What do we know? We know God is always faithful and we need to trust in Him and hold on. We know with Jesus on our side we are stronger than ever. God is reliable and can be trusted.

Partner with God in these times to make a difference in people’s lives and bring an end to pain and fear. Walking with God is the only way to be assured of His divine protection and provision.

As much as we pray, we also need to apply wisdom and obey the law and instructions given by our leaders at this time. Keep your environment clean, wash your hands regularly and stay safe.
